I’m going to..I’m not going to. Ok, I’m going to!

by Shelly

Ummm, so it’s a bit hard to keep up a blog when you really aren’t sure if anyone is reading it. You basically figure, what’s the use? But since finding Decorpad.com I have been completely inspired by the lovely ladies on there who are as obsessed with home design as I am.

Ok, so since I haven’t been around here for QUITE a while, here is a little breakdown of what’s transpired over the last few months. We’ve been just a wee bit busy!

1)We sold our starter home..*sniff* and bought our dream home..*yippie!*

2)After a 7 year hiatus I have relaunched my interior design biz, but this time I’m way more serious and full speed ahead…. Watch out soon for Van Rozeboom Interiors website!

3)I had a near death medical emergency on Mother’s Day that has left me more grateful for my friends, family, and life than I ever could have imagined. I’m still dealing with a few medical “bumps” shall we say, but for someone who was in ICU for 3 days…I am ALIVE AND KICKING!!!!

So, folks here I am..back in the saddle. I have far too many projects and fun things I’m doing over here NOT to share them with you all. Sit back kids and enjoy!

Hey Chris…

Well I didn't know I was pregnant and on Mother's Day I had really horrible stomach pains that turned into me going into shock, passing out..etc. We thought I had food poisoning. Hahaha! By the time I got to the hospital I had lost half my blood and my blood pressure was 60/30. They had expected me to die that night. They rushed me into surgery and found out I had an ectopic pregnancy that ruptured way too close to my uterus so I bled way more than normal. I was in CCU (I keep making that mistake) for 3 days and got 6 blood transfusions to make up for all the blood I lost. Fun times huh? It gave me a total new outlook on life and made me VERY VERY grateful for my family and friends!!
