Shelly Van Rozeboom, founder of Van Rozeboom Interiors, believes living with good design is a choice, not a luxury.
Every day she puts her design philosophy and services to work helping clients transform their spaces into stylish, functional homes.
A Southern California native, her design education started at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, and continued with a B.A. in Art History. While in school, Shelly worked for a prominent interior design firm in Orange Country. She followed that with a successfull career as an interior designer for a national furniture manufacturer, where she designed everything from tiny beach cottages to rambling villas nestled among olive trees.
In July of 2009, Shelly took a leap and opened her own firm. She's passionate about creating homes that reflect her clients' taste, and the laid-back elegance of Southern California runs in her blood. Shelly shares a classic Williamsburg beachside home in Southern California with her husband, 3 year-
old daughter, and two babies of the furry persuasion (Zipper, a goofy black lab, and Diva, a fat cat with an attitude to match).
She believes travel is the best inspiration, a glass of red wine makes everything better, and everyone should try surfing once. Oh... and when in doubt, add fresh flowers!
